Paris Panda has created a ‘Party’ application on Facebook to generate a buzz around McFly’s comeback single ‘Party Girl’.
The application enabled fans to create Mcfly parties and invite their Facebook friends. Fans were invited to plan their own parties by creating a place, time and poster to promote it. A video was featured from the band encouraging fans to upload photos of their parties to the app. The best fan – photo won a private webchat with McFly.
The parties all took place before the official release of the single on 5th September. Whilst using this app, their fans were able to also pre-order the bands new single ‘Party Girl’ and join the mailing list.
This app saw old and new fans get involved with Mcfly via social media, generating an estimated 2 million impressions across Facebook newsfeeds.

When approached to brainstorm and create online concepts for the iconic singer and all round outrageous superstar Grace Jones, Paris Panda suggested that Grace should arrive on the Facebook scene and ruffle a few feathers!
Who better than Grace to carry off such a feat? After some highly amusing research we crafted a new Facebook Application called Socially Sick, a phrase that a teacher once used to describe the school girl – Grace Mendoza.
We felt there was a definite calling for some outrageous, naughty behaviour amongst all the hugging, kissing, poking and general Facebook niceness. Spread the outrage here and find out how friends can ‘Lick’, ‘Pooh – pooh’, ‘Give the finger’ or ‘Howl’ at their mates as well as ‘Drag by the hair’, ‘Stand up’, ‘Dress down’ or ‘Slap’ each other in true Grace-like diva fashion.
As part of a wider campaign in support of the album release, ‘Hurricane’, her first in 20 years Paris Panda also delivered several eye catching online ads for placement across music and gay sites using artwork by none other than infamous street artist Banksy.
Grace Jones’ Hurricane went on sale on November 3rd and is followed by the EP release of ‘William’s Blood’ on December 8th, ‘William’s Blood’ is an 11 minute art piece produced by the much acclaimed Chris Cunningham. The award winning, music film and video director has previously won awards for Bjorks ‘All is full of Love‘ and directed Madonna’s ‘Frozen’ video.

Grace Jones' first release for 20 years, Hurricane, is out now on Wall Of Sound Records.
